No Bake Chocolate Peanut Butter Cups

Hey Y’all!

Cowboy hasn’t been feeling well lately so the kids and I wanted to make him something special. His favorite sweet treat is Reese peanut butter cups and we decided to make our no bake peanut butter cups. We’ve made these for many years so I’m not sure where I originally got this recipe although I have seen similar recipes out there.

For these super simple treats you will need :

  • 2 cups of Graham cracker crumbs or one sleeve Graham crackers crushed finely or pulsed in food processor
  • 2 heaping cups of powdered sugar
  • 1 cup of melted butter
  • 1 &  1/4 cup peanut butter
  • 1 bag of semisweet chocolate morsels

Mix melted butter with powered sugar, Graham cracker crumbs, and 1 cup of peanut butter. ( if you want you can warm the peanut butter slightly in the microwave to help it mix in easier but this is totally optional)

Spread this mixture in a 9*13 baking pan.

(this part is totally optional but at this point you can place it in the freezer for 15-20 minutes which seems to help it set up a little better but it’s perfectly fine to skip this part)

Now in the microwave melt remaining 1/4 cup peanut butter and chocolate morsels. Watch carefully and do this slowly so it doesn’t burn. Microwave for an 30 seconds at a time stirring in between.

Top the mixture in the pan with the melted chocolate mixture.

(Isn’t she cute?)

Refrigerate for approximately 1 hour and the enjoy!

Hope y’all like them and don’t blame me if you become addicted!

Oh and B lost her 1st tooth naturally today (the top two had to be pulled a couple years ago because of nerve damage)
